Michigan begins demolishing concrete "ramp to nowhere"

Dan’s Excavating has begun demolishing the Pier 19 "ramp to nowhere" in Detroit. Meanwhile, the legal bid of Matty Moroun, owner of the Ambassador Bridge, to regain control of building what is called the "ramp to nowhere," was rejected by the Michigan Court of Appeals on April 13. A new truck road connection will be built in Pier 19's place as part of the Gateway project.
