N.D. officials call for changes in managing Missouri River

The Army Corps of Engineers should revamp its management of the Missouri River after last year's catastrophic flooding caused changes to the river, North Dakota officials say. A channel-maintenance plan must be implemented in the river's upper portion as Bismarck faces a problem from sediment downstream, Gov. Jack Dalrymple said.
