N.J. district to maintain co-teaching

School officials are assuring parents in one New Jersey district that they plan to continue a co-teaching arrangement that has special educators working alongside general subject teachers in inclusion classrooms. Officials with the South Orange-Maplewood district say a new pullout reading program will be staffed by special educators and is meant to help struggling students catch up and return to their classes with fewer supports.
