Report finds no EMR vendor dominates urgent care market

Urgent care facilities seeking to accommodate greater patient volumes are using various EMR vendors to fit their needs, according to a KLAS report. The report, based on a survey of 76 urgent care groups, finds hospital-affiliated sites tend to use an ambulatory EMR or in-house emergency department system, while standalone facilities often employ best-of-breed EMRs.
