Sears Canada cuts apparel brands, boosts return policy

Sears Canada plans to cut about 70 of its 90 private apparel brands in an effort to boost sales with a focus on a smaller stable of "big brands," CEO Calvin McDonald said Tuesday. The company will also revamp its return policy, eliminating a restocking fee and offering store credits good for one year on merchandise returned without receipts.
