Small business falls behind in social media

Less than 1 in 5 of small businesses are using social media sites such as Facebook, according to a BIA/Kelsey and vSplash study. Almost three-quarters of the businesses in the study didn't have basic e-mail information on their home pages and almost 66% of sites lacked an information-request form, putting them at a distinct disadvantage in improving their e-commerce sales, according to analysts.
