Survey: Consumers use social media to research health

Many consumers use social media to research health-related concerns, according to a recent survey by PricewaterhouseCoopers' Health Research Institute. The poll reveals that 42% of 1,600 adults surveyed access consumer evaluations of doctors or treatments through social media, while 25% post information regarding their own medical experiences.
