Teacher gives Conn. students their day in court

When Fairfield, Conn., social studies teacher Jim D'Acosta was teaching "Youth and the Law," he turned for help to the experts -- the prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, U.S. marshals, clerks, guards and court recorders -- working in the nearby Bridgeport court system. The result, writes D'Acosta in this article, was an incredible day in court and a stimulating learning experience for his students.
