Wal-Mart boosts Indian hiring target to revamp online retail

Wal-Mart Stores will hire about 200 employees in India to help the global retail giant revamp its online platform, the company said. Only about 1% of Wal-Mart's annual sales come from online retail, according to an estimate by Kantar Retail. The move comes as Amazon and others continue to grab market share as consumers shift more of their spending to e-commerce.
