When the final competitions of the Team America Rocketry Challenge are held next month, seven teams from Alabama schools will be there, vying for a national title, hefty scholarships and the chance to compete with rocket-building students from throughout the nation. "Qualifying within the top 100 is an incredibly challenging and exciting achievement," said Aerospace Industries Association President and CEO Marion Blakey. "But equally impressive are the nearly 5,000 students who were inspired to explore science, engineering and technology through their participation in this year's challenge."
