CEO: Redbox Instant could foray into original family content

Redbox Instant, the joint streaming service from Redbox and Verizon, probably will develop its own programming at some future point, according to CEO Shawn Strickland. The service would likely target the family market with its original content. "This is one area from a programming perspective we can look at and see how we can fit there and fill a void," Strickland said.
