Energy drink is made with Amazonian leaf

Brooklyn-based Runa Tea has introduced an energy drink made with a leaf called guayusa, which grows in the Amazon. The leaf creates a drink high in caffeine and polyphenols, but low in tannins, which can contribute bitter flavors, said company co-founder Tyler Gage.
