Study: 2 new species of moths found in Russia

Scientists have discovered two new species of moth in the Russian Far East. As larvae, the moths develop in strange cradlelike cocoons, and are also noted for their unique resting position: Their hind section goes up while their antennae extend forward. Descriptions of the Ypsolopha melanofuscella and Ypsolopha straminella were detailed in the journal ZooKeys.
