Air France-KLM unveil system that may end luggage check-in lines

A new electronic system developed by Air France-KLM may put an end to travelers waiting in line to tag their luggage at the airport. The eTag system allows travelers to tag their bags at home and enter their flight details online. Travelers then leave their suitcase at a "fast drop" point at the airport. Air France–KLM will offer eTag to a small group of frequent fliers in December as part of an initial trial.
