Senior managers can begin training millennials to become the next generation of leaders by making use of their strengths as a demographic and helping them develop new abilities such as independent decision-making, Patrick Proctor advises. Millennial supervisors may also need to be taught how to enforce unpopular longer hours or how to draw clear personal boundaries because of this generation's "share-everything" tendencies, Proctor writes.
