OSHA asks OMB to approve request to solicit views on chemical exposure

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has asked the Office of Management and Budget for approval to gather information on ways to address chemical exposure. OSHA may be preparing for rulemaking or for simply seeking opinions on nonregulatory alternatives, this article says. "I think they're interested in any and all suggestions," said Scott Schneider, director of occupational safety and health for the Laborers' Health & Safety Fund of North America.
