Report findings pinpoint need for more integration in STEM

Teaching science, technology, engineering and math using an integrated model can be challenging, according to a recent report by the National Academy of Sciences. Data show schools using an integrative model often place more emphasis on math and science and less on technology and engineering, the report authors found. The report offers insights on what works in integrated models and guidelines for assessing such programs.
