R.I. program seeks to train more nursing care managers

A growing need for nursing care managers is behind the Rhode Island College School of Nursing's decision to offer a 15-credit graduate certificate program in nursing care management. The course curriculum was developed through discussions with care managers with the Rhode Island Chronic Care Sustainability Initiative, and students will learn about evidence-based approaches to care coordination across health care settings.
