Georgia Senator Proposes Teacher Tax-Cut Plan

Sen. Zell Miller, D-Ga., introduced a bill yesterday that would exempt teachers from paying federal income taxes. The legislation reportedly is designed to keep experienced teachers in the classroom. The bill is still too new to know how much support it will garner, a report says.
