High Hopes for Mobile TV and Video


Globally, mobile TV and video revenues will exceed $12 billion by 2011 with a subscriber base of 200 million, according to eMarketer. Many of the key pieces such as 3G and smartphones are already in place, says eMarketer analyst John Gauntt, but now "many of the hard questions that need asking with regards to rights management, revenue sharing and marketing to the consumer must be tackled if the opportunity is to ever develop beyond the experimental phase."
