Minn. district plans world languages for all elementary students

Pending board approval, every student in a large Minneapolis suburban school district, may, by the 2008-2009 school year, begin learning world languages in kindergarten or first grade. "We felt we were missing a critical opportunity by waiting until fifth grade," said Jean Lubke, Eden Prairie's director of curriculum and instruction.
