Newspaper-Yahoo! deal only beginning of industry transformation

A recent deal between Yahoo! and a consortium of newspapers to sell ads in conjunction with each other has media analysts pointing to a larger trend in news gathering: Newspapers will gain ad money lost to a shift in online advertising, but will ultimately increase the importance of a newspaper's Web site, and move journalists to a variety of media sources.
