As budgets recover, conference attendance increases

Conference attendance, as well as the number of conferences being offered, is increasing as budgets recover from the recession. That means more opportunities for advisers to get required training through conferences, Web-based courses and webcasts. FPA is a prime example of the trend. Its Business Solutions Conference in March had 45% more attendees than in 2009, and its annual retreat this week is expected to have 30% more attendees than last year.
