EPA submits proposed rule for confidentiality issues in GHG reporting

The Environmental Protection Agency submitted on Wednesday to the Office of Management and Budget a draft rule that will address confidentiality issues under the agency's greenhouse-gas reporting rules. The EPA has required about 10,000 industrial polluters to begin collecting emissions data on Jan. 1, 2010, with the first reporting due during March 2011.
