Scientists use dissolvable silk to develop brain implant

U.S. scientists said they developed a brain implant that can record signals from a cat's brain using thin metal electrodes and silk that can dissolve into the brain. They said the implant might be used to power artificial limbs and help treat patients with epilepsy and spinal cord injuries.
