Companies look for ways to subtly raise prices

Companies, especially those that sell components to other businesses, are starting to raise prices as the cost of commodities becomes painful. Johnson Controls, for example, has announced a price increase of its auto and marine batteries of between 5% and 9%. Other businesses, namely those that sell directly to consumers, find their pricing power still very limited.
