Chef's counters put preparation front and center

A growing number of Denver-area restaurants have moved their kitchens to the forefront with counters that give foodie patrons a chance to see their meals being prepared and glean new tips from the professionals. "I like to see the guests eat then and there. I get instant gratification, and that feedback is a great way to keep cooks passionate," said Panzano executive chef Elise Wiggins.
