Children aren't as active as parents think, survey shows

A Statistics Canada report showed that children spent an average of 63 minutes a day doing moderate to vigorous physical activity, but their parents reported that their children exercise nearly 105 minutes daily. Although the average screen time cited by parents for their children was 2.5 hours, researchers found that children were sedentary for 7.6 hours.
