Hispanic buying power is $1.1 trillion and growing

U.S. Hispanic buying power increased $100 billion, to $1.1 trillion, from 2010 to 2011, according to a Nielsen report. Numbering 52 million, the demographic is expected to reach buying power of $1.5 trillion by 2015 and disproportionately influence buying trends because of its younger-than-median-age skew.
