Judge dismisses discrimination lawsuit against Iowa

A federal judge has dismissed a class action lawsuit that alleged that managers in Iowa's state government are subconsciously biased against black workers. Plaintiffs used the theory of implicit bias, which says that most Americans have a preference for whites, to argue their side of the case. The lawsuit involved up to 6,000 workers and asked for millions of dollars in lost wages.
