MLB's popular "At Bat" app doubles daily streams to 800,000

Live streams have doubled to more than 800,000 a day for Major League Baseball's "MLB.com At Bat" application. The app's video and audio offerings are credited for its surging popularity, giving fans "an opportunity to connect in a much deeper way than they can through print and other traditional forms or media," said Kevin McGuire, vice president of product at Motricity.
