Mobile searchers use location data to find food, auto businesses

Mobile and online users perform local Web searches most often for restaurants and automotive locations, according to a report from AT&T. Combing through its data from 528 million searches, the carrier found that movie theaters, beauty services and hotels rounded out the top five search categories. More than half of those who searched used the "click-to-call" button to contact the business, and 43% of mobile searchers visited the physical location of the business.
