Va. city's planners delay decision on new sign rules

The city planning commission in Suffolk, Va., has voted to delay a final decision on relaxing city sign ordinances. The commission pushed its decision date back by 60 days to give residents more time to study the issue and comment on it. Some residents say the changes are too permissive, while business and development interests say they don't relax the rules enough.
