Insurers respond to fertilizer-plant explosion in Texas

An explosion at a Texas fertilizer plant damaged or destroyed many homes and other properties, killed as many as 15 people and injured more than 150, according to the Insurance Council of Texas. Insurance companies are "committed to helping the families and business owners that have been affected and will be there to support the recovery every step of the way," said PCI's Joe Woods. "It is still too early know the full insurance implications of this event," he said.
