McDonald's Japan rolls out 1st burger price hike in five years

McDonald's in Japan will raise burger prices next month for the first time since 2008, saying it needs to boost profits there after booking a 12% drop last year. The chain will raise hamburger and cheeseburger prices as much as 25%; small shakes and some chicken items will go up as well, the company said.
