St. Louis contractor faces OSHA fines for fall-protection violations

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has levied more than $120,000 in fines on a roofing company in St. Louis for violating fall-protection standards and other workplace-safety rules. KG Framing and Construction was cited with 12 safety violations for failing to provide fall-protection equipment to its workers at a site in Maryland Heights, a suburb of the city. OSHA also cited the company for not providing proper protection when crews used pneumatic nail guns.
