German researchers said adult chronic pain grading can be used in children and is linked to more recommendations for inpatient treatment, according to a study in the European Journal of Pain. Researchers said because chronic pain grading does not show who will get inpatient or outpatient treatment, the next step may to create an assessment tool for therapy decisions.
