Africa sees boom in foreign defense firms

East and southern Africa is seeing a rush by foreign defense firms eager to launch new plants and tap Africa's growing market for force modernization and defense against terrorism and other threats. Over the next 10 years, African governments are projected to forge defense deals worth $20 billion.
