Chesapeake signs McClendon's new company to drill in Utica Shale

Chesapeake Energy signed six-month contracts with a subsidiary of Aubrey McClendon's American Energy Partners to drill in Ohio's Utica Shale formation. The subsidiary, American Energy-Utica, will rent seven rigs from Chesapeake for up to $26,000 per day.
