Global government leadership lagging in transition to sustainability

An expert panel criticized international governments for their lackluster sustainable development performance in a new GlobeScan/SustainAbility Survey. The survey, which pitted different types of leaders' sustainability performance against one another, showed that social entrepreneurs are viewed most positively, with 53% of experts granting high scores. Nationally elected government officials received top marks from only 3% of those surveyed.
