Medically trained veterans are sought for health care jobs

The medical profession holds many opportunities for veterans who have experience serving in programs such as the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps or other military health care units, experts say. "Military veterans make up the largest pool of screened, trained and proven talent in the United States," said Willie French of the Houston Methodist hospital system. Health care facilities across the U.S. hold hiring fairs and other events to entice medically trained veterans to apply for jobs.
