Tax break tentatively approved for Boston's $550M Fenway Center project

The proposed $550 million Fenway Center in Boston that would have "hundreds of apartments, stores, restaurants, and offices" and be partially built over the Massachusetts Turnpike could get a $4.6 million tax break from the city. However the deal still needs state approval. The project could create 1,800 construction jobs and "create over $2 billion in economic development and revenue to the city and state," according to developer John Rosenthal.
