College admissions camps promise competitive edge for teens

This summer, teens can attend up to 12-day-long, privately run residential camps at college campuses around the country to give them an edge on the admissions process. The programs, which cost between about $2,300 and $2,900, offer help in such areas as college selection, campus visits, test-taking and essay-writing.
