The high-pressure SAT gets harder

Beginning next year, the new SAT will require more advanced math and reading comprehension as well as an essay. Although the College Board says the changes align the test with school curricula and encourage better writing, cynics note the higher registration fees for the exam will bring the Board millions in new revenue.
