GE Healthcare, Eli Lilly seek early biomarker for Alzheimer's

GE Healthcare and Eli Lilly scientists are seeking an injectable agent that will bind to the protein believed to play a role in Alzheimer's and lead to early detection of the disease, when it may be more treatable. The collaboration, GE's first major partnership with a pharmaceutical firm, is part of an initiative to develop diagnostic biomarkers for cancer, Parkinson's and other diseases.
