Cisco, Telus invest in video encryption specialist

Cisco Systems and Telus have invested a combined $16 million in Widevine, a Seattle-based start-up that helps telecoms, MSOs and satcasters deliver video securely by ensuring that users pay for content and don't redistribute it.
