Study: Transfusion not needed for stabilized, anemic children

A new study suggests withholding blood transfusions from hospitalized and anemic children has no adverse effects and may in fact reduce risks. According to the study, stabilized children who receive a transfusions have no greater results than those who did not receive the transfusion.
