Highway projects to transform travel in Dallas-Fort Worth

A series of highway projects that surround the Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas, will transform how drivers travel through Dallas-Fort Worth, state and local officials say. The area is now known for its problematic highway entrances and exits. The projects, which total $518 million, will add extra highway lanes, direct highway connections and flyover bridges. Known as the Diamond Interchange, the projects will take up to seven years to complete, officials say.
