Apollo Hospitals sets up stem cell research center

India's Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Centre has established the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Center, a facility that will use bone marrow, placental and umbilical cord blood stem cells for research and in clinical studies. CMBRC has partnered with StemCyte for the use of umbilical cord-derived stem cells.
