Bullet train plans advance in California, Ohio

The California High-Speed Rail Authority has issued a detailed report on how a planned high-speed train will be built through the Bay Area; the state has $5.1 billion to spend on the bullet train from San Francisco to San Jose. Meanwhile, an editorial urged the Ohio Controlling Board to release the $25 million need to study passenger rail in the state.
